MedicalDirector and HotDoc have announced a partnership to deliver a Patient Engagement solution to healthcare professionals across Australia. Focused on fostering patient loyalty with clinics, the partnership offers practices the expertise of MedicalDirector’s solutions for what happens inside the clinic, with HotDoc’s solutions for what happens outside the clinic.
The partnership gives MedicalDirector customers access to HotDoc’s engagement suite directly in their workflow, offering practices easy access to Online Bookings, Check-In Kiosk, SMART Recalls, SMART Reminders, Repeats and Inform. The partnership also offers clinics free ‘in-app’ appointment reminders, which can be sent automatically to patients who have downloaded the HotDoc app.

Installation takes 10 mins on the server and an additional 5 mins to install the Reception Sidebar on additional reception/admin computers. At leat one computer will require the sidebar to be installed.
Approx 30 mins for most practices. If you are a larger practice, or have multiple locations, this may take a little longer. Once your booking page is ready it generally takes another 10 mins to customise your preferences. This involves: adding a practice photo and blurb; creating your appointment preferences; and setting up your doctor profiles.
